Gary’s ACTORS EQUITY career magically began in 1977, when he was catapulted into the Broadway Touring Cast of the Tony Award-winning: Equus (starring George Maharis). His next play (1978) was the box-office hit Romanoff and Juliet (starring Avery Schreiber) at Chicago’s Pheasant Run Theater. For twenty years, Gary did theater in India, performing Macbeth; Death of a Salesman and a dozen of his short plays with Indian theater legend -and mentor- Alyque Padamsee. Gary is the founder and creative director of Mumbai’s the MAD HORSES Theater Troupe. (Most of the photos below are from backstage at MAD HORSES shows.
